This project was intended as an art exhibition poster. Experimenting with shape and framing, focusing on the eyes of the subjects in these works of art throughout history.
I wanted this exhibit to focus of the world’s most famous works of art but specifically exploring the subject’s eyes, and the potential to take a trip into the life of the subject. Whether that would be the psychological troubles of Vincent Van Gogh or Andy Warhol’s Marilyn.
By stripping back most of the painting and focusing on the eyes the humanity of the subject is immediately brought back to life.
